Independence Day

July 4

On Independence Day, Breckenridge bursts with patriotism, lively parties, and the highly anticipated Main Street Parade. This special day is dedicated to the celebration. It encompasses a range of exciting events such as athletic competitions, captivating live music, vibrant art festivals, engaging family activities, and cherished small-town customs.

A few things to note:

  • Due to our community’s location in a high-fire-danger area with low humidity, we prioritize wildfire prevention and, as a result, will not be hosting a fireworks display.
  • Town of Breckenridge officials recommends that dogs stay at home for the festivities. Main Street is expected to be very busy!
  • Main Street will be closed from French Street to Park Avenue from 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
