Summit County Wine Tastings & Flights

Summit County is home to many restaurants and amazing happy hour locations. But there are only a few spots where you can enjoy wine tastings, flights of wine, and wine and food pairings. For wine lovers, there isn’t anything better than enjoying and learning more about some of your favorite pours, or new ones. Most of these locations are slightly hidden off the main drag, but are absolutely worth a visit.

Come learn more about Continental Divide Winery in its Main Street Station tasting room. With a winery in Fairplay and grapes sourced from California vineyards, this winery offers a fun and exciting selection to pick from. Taste some local Grand Valley varietals or enjoy a Sonoma Coast favorite. Enjoy a tasting with wine by the glass or wine by the bottle. Arrangements have been made so you can enjoy foods from The Cheese Shop of Breckenridge or BoLD while you sip some wine.

Tastings:

  • White Wine Flight – $20 for four glasses
  • Red and White Flight – $20 for two reds and two whites
  • Red Flight – $20 for four glasses
  • Special Limited Release Flight – $30 for four glasses and includes a souvenir logo glass

Wine by the Glass: Available to go in a 187-milliliter mini carafe

  • White and Rose Wines – $12
  • Red Wines – $15
  • Limited Release Wine – $25

Wine Lovers Tip: Test your pallet with a blind tasting! Pick from any of the wine tasting flights and ask to do the tasting blind. It will then be up to you to name each wine correctly.

Ridge Street Wine offers wine, cheese, and chocolate for all to enjoy. Its downstairs has a shop where you can purchase bottles of wine, cheeses, chocolate, crackers, jams, and other goodies. Upstairs is the tasting room where you can taste wines by the glass or half glass.

Specials:

  • Wednesday Wine and Cheese from 5–7 p.m. – $20 for your choice of a cheese and a flight (three half glasses)
  • Friday Night Flights from 5–8 p.m. – $15 for your choice of a flight (three half glasses)

Wine Lovers Tip: Like one of the wines you tasted? Just head downstairs and purchase that bottle to take with you. It’s a great souvenir and a fun way to learn about new wines.

Located right off Main Street beside Gold Pan, Carboy Winery is a new addition to the Breckenridge wine scene. Enjoy a glass, flight, bottle, or liter of wine when you visit this Breckenridge location. Carboy also has a full restaurant, so you can enjoy some appetizers or a full meal with your wine.

  • Colorado Flight – $15 for four glasses
  • Red Wine Flight – $12 for three glasses

Wine by the pour:

Wine Lovers Tip: Get a house liter and charcuterie to go for $30! Ready to head back to the resort and enjoy some time relaxing? Then pick up a liter of house red or white and a snack on your way back.

If you are a wine and animal enthusiast, then this is a must-visit location on your next trip to Summit County. Saved by the Wine is a wine bar and bakery that donates a percentage of profits to the local animal shelter. It offers wine by the glass, wine flights, food and wine pairings, cocktails, savory and sweet pastries and more.

  • 3–6 p.m. daily: $2 off wine on tap
  • 8 to close daily: half off any bottle of bubbles with dessert order

Wine Lovers Tip: Pair this location with a trip to the lake! Saved by the Wine offers anything to go. Being located so close to Lake Dillon, this is the perfect time to take your wine outside and enjoy the stunning lake views.
