If you are lucky, you may even run into a moose friend along the way. Every few feet you will find old mining equipment and historical signage. There is a gain in elevation, so make sure to bring some water. If you are looking for a little longer hike add on a visit to the nearby Country Boy Mine.

The trailhead is located off Airport Road. You will see the Iowa Hill Trailhead sign from the road and will turn onto a dirt road to find parking.
