Greetings from Breckenridge!

BGV Gives, our philanthropic program, is excited to host the 8th Annual Robert A. Millisor Heart Health Walk this June. This family-friendly event honors Rob Millisor, one of the founders of BGV, who lost his life when he suffered a heart attack while on a humanitarian trip in Nepal.

As many BGV owners know, Rob’s passing in 2015 was the catalyst for creating BGV Gives and this annual event. Since its inception in 2016, the Heart Health Walk has raised more than $1M for heart health and issues at the “heart” of our local Summit County community. Over 3,800 runners and walkers have participated, and countless smiles have been created over the years since this event took place. “One of our primary initiatives with the funds raised is to provide AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) around the Summit County communities and in our buildings. Those AEDs have saved the lives of two heart attack victims while staying at BGV properties,” says Tara Dew, BGV Gives Program Manager.

This year, the Heart Health Walk will take place on Saturday, June 10th from 8:30am – 1:00pm at Carter Park and Pavillion.
